Solutions for Red Tide

The Red Tide in oceans and the blue-green algae threats to coastal and in-state ponds, rivers, lakes, and streams have created a need for a Red Tide task force for Florida. 

The Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute and Mote Marine Laboratories are researching methods to deal with the Red Tide (Karenia Brevis). Keith Ervin, the founder of Ion Water Sciences, works closely with Dr. Don Anderson and the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute to test Ion Water Science's solution, GCO hydro-oxidative clay, for the safe flocculation and treatment of Red Tide.
