Who We Are

 Ion Water Sciences has unique blends of biopolymers, geopolymers, naturally occurring microbes, and electro-oxidative processes that can solve these threats to mankind without harming our environment. These processes are two sides of a unique coin, where the first side has additive chemistry to clean up the water by adding specific biopolymers and geopolymers. The flip side of the same coin uses reductive chemistry via an electro-oxidative process to restore water to a former state. Ion Water Sciences has several projects in various stages that will prove to be extremely important to all future projects in the remediation of PFAS and PFOA, blue-green algae, red tide, landfill leachate, and coal ash (for concrete production).

•  Wastewater treatment plants remediate water using chemicals that are not very friendly to humans, such as aluminum sulfate, calcium dioxide, and chlorine.  
• Most water released as “clean water” still contains PFAS and microplastics and can contain other harmful microorganisms. 
• Our proprietary blue chemistry formulations, made from all-natural, 100% organic geopolymers and biopolymers, replace currently used flocculants and effluents. 
• Geopolymers and biopolymers act as ionic sponges, attracting and absorbing excess nutrients, such as nitrogen, ammonia, phosphates, and heavy metals while clarifying the water column. 
• This unique combination can restore balance using carbon-negative products. End-use applications include bio-degradable, non-petroleum-based composites and additives and bio-regenerative water treatments.
